RTW TV Addictions

I think I may have been in India too long. I almost changed my dinner plans tonight because I knew that The Office would be on tonight. It’s pretty bad when I’ve memorized pertinent parts of India’s weekly TV schedule.
It’s a repeat tonight anyways.
While traveling, I have stayed in a hotel two extra night because they had night-to-night reruns of The Saprano’s. Never admitted that until now. Same on us.
Even worse, it’s not even the current season! It’s reruns from last season so most of the TV I watch I’ve seen before. But I have no choice, I bought the season opener from iTunes but my iBook’s processor is too old and slow to play anything in Quicktime 8. And all the iTunes downloaded are encoded so they can’t be played in any other player so I’m screwed. I love Apple, but I’ll admit that they do expect you to keep up with the technology.

It’s okay buddy. I think secretly most travelers are watching TV, buying soft drinks and candy bars and checking home news on the internet. Most people just pretend, and I don’t. I still have a coke with breakfast, even if the granola crowd’s watching.
