Fiestas Puertoriquenas

Although I haven’t been taking advantage of most of the free events going on in Chicago this summer I did make it up to the Fiestas Puertoriquenas in Humbolt Park in the end of June. I had no excuse, as it was a 10 minute bike ride from my apartment and a beautiful day. I didn’t stay for the music and only ate a so-so dish of $12 chicken and rice but the kitchy carnival rides were fun to photograph. Check out my photos here in the gallery. I love the lighting in this one.
